Today, at Girl’sDay 2024, a group of girls between grades eight and ten visited the Institute for Theoretical Physics III to learn how to program a quantum computer. After being introduced to important concepts of quantum mechanics, they could try their hand at programming a (future) quantum computer using the QRydDemo circuit designer.
During the day the girls also had a chance to visit the labs of the 5th Institute of Physics, where currently a prototype quantum computer is being built.
