During a tour of the University of Stuttgart, Minister President Winfried Kretschmann and Minister of Science Petra Olschowksi were presented selected highlights from quantum research and aerospace engineering. This also included an overview of our work on a Rydberg atom quantum computer made in THE LÄND. What are the unique features of the Rydberg platform, Kretschmann and Olschowski wanted to know, giving us the chance to explain our goal to realize arrays with hundreds of trapped qubits whose arrangement can be reshuffled during a quantum algorithm. Just in time with the release of our interactive quantum circuit designer, we have explained how users can already now run algorithms on our emulator, and how they will get access to our machine in the near future.
